We love that we’re able to live and work in the beautiful city of Victoria BC. The holiday season provides us with even more to love about our city. Included in this post are a few of our favorite festive activities that Victoria has to offer.
From December 1st until January 6th check out the Butchart Gardens Twelve Days of Christmas lights display. The holiday season is brought to life with traditional carolers and you can warm up after your stroll with a hot chocolate and gingerbread man by the fire in their coffee shop.
Local Craft Fairs, such as the Victorian Christmas Craft Fair (November 19th & 20th) and Calico Christmas (November 12th & 13th) provide an opportunity to purchase one of a kind, locally made gifts for your friends and loved ones this holiday season.
Bundle up and bring a thermos of something warm to one of Victoria’s magical holiday parades. Our favorites are the Peninsula Co-op’s annual Santa Claus Parade. Held on November 26th this year, starting at 5pm in downtown Victoria. As well as the Island Equipment Owners Assoc. Truck Light Convoy and Food Drive. Held on December 3rd this year. Check out their website for times and route details. www.ieoa.ca
While we love to take part in all that our wonderful city has to offer throughout the colder months, we are still hard at work here in the office. Feel free to reach out any time with your real estate questions!
